Our Story
Started by a roofer. Still run by roofers.
Jerry Hujar started Jerry's Roofing of Tampa Bay in 1983, after years of learning the trade on Florida roofs. He built the company on a simple idea: do honest work, charge a fair price, and treat every homeowner the way you'd want to be treated. That reputation is why Jerry's is still here 42 years later, in a market where roofing companies come and go every storm season.
In 2024, Corey Combes and his partners took over, with one goal: carry the tradition forward and build on it. Same crews. Same standard. Same name on the truck.
What's changed is what we build. Jerry's has become Tampa Bay's premium roofing company, installing metal, tile, slate, designer shingles, and synthetic cedar shake. Roofs designed to last decades, priced to make sense over their lifetime, and backed by a process where you won't have to worry about a thing.

We inspect the whole roof, not just the spot that's leaking: decking, flashing, underlayment, penetrations, and ventilation. Then we document what we find with photos so you can see it yourself.
Honest Assessment
The Roof Reality Check. We tell you exactly what shape your roof is in and how much life it has left. If a repair will hold, we say so, even when a replacement would pay us more.
